POWERFUL & GENUINE
I devoured Emerging Through the Shadows in an afternoon. I couldn't put it down. I am now rereading, savoring each line of prose and each paragraph of author's musings. The author's words speak deeply to my heart and provide a vehicle for me to open & release deeply packed emotions, beliefs, and trauma I didn't even know were held within me. Ultimately facilitating healing and freedom. It is a deeply personal journey the author invites us along and one can't help but find parts of self along the way. It is a beautiful work and delivers on the promise emerging through the shadows by facing and expressing shadows with heartfelt and well-crafted prose. I highly recommend this book.
Emerging Through The Shadows by A. N. Tipton is absolutely transformative! Thoroughly enjoyed that her poetry and prose is so relatable. Her words exude the deepest of feelings in a true and honest expression. Pure and unencumbered, this author invites you to join her innermost thoughts and discoveries. Read in one sitting, devouring each word that continues to keep me pondering. Highly recommend this book and look forward to future publications.

A.N. Tipton resides in the lush, rainy landscapes of the Pacific Northwest with her husband and son. A lifelong lover of literature, she writes poetry, fiction, and blogs, finding solace and creativity in the written word. Through her blog The Journey of a Writer on Medium.com, along with her upcoming debut collection Emerging Through the Shadows, she explores the complex terrains of spirituality, healing, and human resilience.
Tipton's writing emerges from the intersection of creativity, healing, and vulnerability. Her work has roots in early recognition—her first poem published in the National Library of Poetry as a teenager—and a lifelong commitment to understanding the intricate layers of human experience. Through stream-of-consciousness poetry, intimate musings and fictional short stories, she invites readers into a raw, unfiltered exploration of personal growth, grief, and resilience.
When not writing, you can find her reading a book with a cup of tea.
